I've been struggling with eczema for about a year now, and I've gone through all kinds of different lotions and creams-from prescription to beauty and drug store brands. Most of them, even the fragrance-free and those made for sensitive skin tend to burn or cause more itching. During my most recent flare up, I purchased a container of the moisturizing body balm because I was desperate for relief and had just heard about her 'aina based products. I was in a lot of discomfort, particularly around my eye, with raw and tiny cracks. I used the Moisturizing Body Balm immediately and was so thankful to have relief. The balm did not burn at all, and it kept my skin very moist. I reapplied throughout the next 24 hours, and my skin began its recovery. I also now only wash with goat's milk and honey soap bar because it does not irritate or dry out my skin and leaves it feeling soft. I suffered with an itchy rash on both arms and on my chest for nearly two years. I tried many unsuccessful treatments of creams, ointments both prescription and over-the-counter medications along with numerous visits to the doctors. Often the medications made my condition worse. Then I decided to try a variety of handmade, honey soaps with amazing and astonishing results. I was so surprised that in a matter of days the redness was vanishing, and the itch gone, almost instantly. The honey soap brought me so much relief and after using it for a month, my rash was gone. I was thrilled! I have continued to use and enjoy the honey soap with no recurrence of the rash months later! I would also like to share my experience regarding the lip balm. Happened upon this amazing company while I was on Maui. I loved her philosophy and I bought a bunch of her honey products. Fast forward 10 days in Maui and poor Warren (Son) got a sunburn and "rub burn" from rubbing his eyes when coming out of the water. I saw her again and she told me to use the balm on him.
